A lovely, cosy cottage. We came for some escapism and we are going home totally relaxed. Lovely walks for Alfie (dog), and thanks for the homely touches - a brilliant time all round.

We had a lovely, restful week and the cottage was very nice and spacious. Elliot (poodle) has enjoyed his walks, he is so tired and therefore slept very well!

The cottage was perfect for access to all parts of the Lake District. The owners were very nice, the locals very friendly, and above all, the local pub, The Red Lion provided excellent food and were very dog friendly - as dog owners it was good to be somewhere that made us feel welcome.

Wasn't sure what to expect this being the first holiday in the UK for a long time being it's the first year we've had the dog. The cottage is situated centrally and within easy reach of a lot of places and walking places. Everyone extremely friendly and helpful. The pub is situated next door and accept dogs, the meals are fantastic and more than enough and especially for the price.
Excellent place to rest after a long day walking and sightseeing - and more so for the dog!!!
